Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. If you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
What We Do With This Data
Operating the site, fixing problems, counting traffic, improving pages. We do not sell visitor lists and we do not build profiles of individual users.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Applicable law may provide a right to access, correct, or delete personal data a website maintains. Washington does not have a generally applicable consumer privacy statute identified in the project research, so the available right depends on the law governing the request. Because we retain little information, we can search the contact mailbox and available server logs when you use the Contact page. Records held by Washington, Snohomish County, or Edmonds offices are outside our control and must be addressed with the custodian. The Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, governs access to agency records rather than deletion from this private service.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
